ClearValue Cards earns compensation through our CardRatings partnership, paid when a reader clicks out to CardRatings from our match tool, and through separately labeled, paid partner placements — marked "Advertiser Disclosure · Sponsored" — that sit outside our card comparisons and rankings. Those are the only two ways we make money on this site.

Neither compensation source influences editorial scoring, which cards appear in our recommendations, or how cards are ranked. Cards are ordered by our published 100-point methodology — never by commission.

We do not accept editorial sponsorship from card issuers, and we do not pre-publish reviews to issuers for approval. We cover cards with no affiliate program when those cards are the right answer for our readers.

Rate and fee information is sourced from each issuer’s published Schumer Box and terms as of the review date, and every card review links to the issuer so you can confirm the current numbers. Rates change; the “last reviewed” date on each card review reflects when we last read the issuer’s published terms.
